Whitening False Teeth with SmilesNY

In this eHow series by New York cosmetic dentist Dr. Steven Roth of SmilesNY, we discuss whitening false teeth that are yellow. The first step is to take x-rays to ensure the health of the tooth underneath, if there is one, then discussing new options to replace the stained tooth. Whitening False Teeth

Hi. I'm Dr. Steven Roth, and today we're going to talk about how to whiten yellow false teeth. Yellow false teeth could be several different types of problems. They could be fake denture teeth. They could be previous crowns that you've had placed on your teeth. They could be previous bonding that you've had placed on your teeth. The best way to find out how to do this, is to have a great dental exam with your dentist, have some photos taken, have some x-rays taken, to make sure the teeth underneath are healthy. Then we can discuss whether to do new veneers, or new crowns, or even whitening in some rare instances, depending on what you have on your teeth. With the Cosmolight process, we can try on a template that will show you how great you could look with your new white teeth, over your yellow false teeth.
