Primary Teeth with SmilesNY
Hi. I am Dr. Steven Roth from Smiles NY in New York City where I am a cosmetic dentist. Today we're going to discuss the anatomy of a primary tooth. A primary tooth is what we all know as a baby tooth. It's the first teeth that comes into the mouth of a child. They look a little bit different than adult teeth. They're whiter, they're smaller, and the most important thing to know about the anatomy of a primary tooth is if you see something that's black or brown or red or yellow, that's within the center of the tooth, it's most likely a cavity and it's very important to take your child to the dentist to diagnose what the problem is and to make sure that they don't get an infection.
My name is Dr. Steven Roth and today we discussed the anatomy of a primary tooth.
