Speaker 1: We're going to evaluate Mary to see if your clenching is causing muscle activity. One of the things that we find in patients who have symptoms is that their muscle activity is very high. And one of the things you'll notice right now is we have these leads on Mary's face, they're called a EMG or electromyographic reading, and it allows us to measure muscle activity. And one of the critical components of a healthy bite is that when the jaw moves in any direction, which it does during biting, chewing, speaking, swallowing, the back teeth immediately separate because the front teeth make them separate. And we're able to measure that with our T scan and our EMG, and that enables us to figure out whether we can help Mary.
