Meet Maria
Maria has been working in the dental field since receiving her degree in dental hygiene from New York University in 1995. She later received certification from New York University in local anesthesia and nitrous sedation. At SmilesNY, Maria performs dental cleanings as a part of preventive dental care. She also takes digital x-rays and completes preliminary examinations of the mouth for areas of disease or damage, and works with her patients to help them understand how to improve their dental health. When not treating her patients at SmilesNY, Maria enjoys volunteering her services to many dental clinics, some as far away as Jerusalem.
